About Dog Training
We teach all the dogs and puppies that come to Neverland K-9 these basic commands: Sit, Down, Loose Leash Walking, Come on command, Greeting Manners (not jumping), Waiting at doors, gates, and for meals, Training with distractions, Climb, and Free. If you are having any behavioral problems with your dog, such as aggression, our dog behavior specialist will also focus on those at your request during your dog’s training. Our canine behaviorist also offers reactive training to address any reactivity issues such as lunging, barking, and growling. Want to have private dog lessons at home? Well then you're in luck, because we also offer in-home dog and puppy training services.
Service Dog Training & Courses
This is done and evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Our service dog school's courses can train a service dog for diabetic alerts, veterans, and mobility, just to name a few. We will create a customized training program for you and your dog with all the necessary skills in order to mitigate your disability. There are four parts to service dog training: basic obedience, advanced obedience, skills training, and public access training. Please contact our service dog trainer directly to get more information and an application. We are willing to help train your own dogs if it meets service dog criteria, selecting a dog already in our program.
